I like it better often than setting multiple side-by-side Windows as I get used to having XY just so. I'll do the same sometimes with Everything, the Help system, or even a hole into a web browser. I tend to set up the second vertical or horizontal pane just as a placeholder for the space, or use the wasted space to the right of the info panel if I don't need much vertical console and I want the info panel up. Since variables transfer over, and the clipboard, I've been kind of muddling my way through with that. If you prefered the portable installation (ZIP file) you will see hot to enable the auto-start here (this will create a shortcut in the Windows Startup.
